We’re delighted to share that, thanks to the generous support of players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, we have received funding to upgrade our booking system—a vital development currently underway.
This new system, once implemented, will significantly reduce the administrative burden on our Cycling Officers, enabling them to dedicate more of their time to what matters most: supporting riders to overcome the barriers they face.
These barriers, whether personal (such as confidence or disability-related challenges) or environmental (like accessibility or limited resources) often prevent individuals from participating fully in cycling. By streamlining our booking processes, we aim to create more capacity for one-to-one support, inclusive coaching, and the development of new cycling participation sessions, including Learn 2 Ride and Cycle Safely programmes.

“We are thrilled to have received this funding for a new online booking system, which represents a significant step forward in how we deliver our services.
By streamlining our administrative processes, the team will be able to spend more time where it matters – supporting our service users rather than on administrative duties.”
This investment in infrastructure is an important step toward expanding our reach and ensuring that more people, regardless of ability, have the chance to experience the freedom and joy of cycling.
We extend our thanks to the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery for helping us take this important step forward.
