Pedal Power is very lucky to get such great support from some amazing people.

Clare works as a support worker and has been coming to Pedal Power for several years where she supports a young lady called Ashley who really enjoys the fresh air and company she gets when cycling around the accessible path.

Clare decided to help Pedal Power and get sponsorship to jump 300ft off the top of a crane (while attached to a bungee cord)!   The jump took place on Sunday 1st May 2022 at Tatton Park and all the money she raised was split 50/50 between Pedal Power and the ‘Clwyd Special Riding Centre’. Clare’s jump has raised over £500.

Clare said “I work as a carer with an amazing young lady with complex needs, she goes to 2 fantastic places that are both 100% run on donations , the first is, ‘Clwyd Special Riding Centre’ and the 2nd is a brilliant place called Pedal Power at Alyn Waters, where they  provide all sorts of accessible bikes for cycling around the park,  including the one we use which allows a wheelchair user to be hoisted onto the front seat and a carer can pedal from behind.”

“These 2 charities are run mostly by volunteers and rely on donations to keep doing the fantastic work they do, that’s why I have decided to jump 300ft off the top of a crane (while attached to a bungee cord)! I will be completed my jump on Sunday 1st May 2022 at Tatton Park and all the money I raise will be split 50/50 between these two amazing charities”

Well done Clare and thank you very much and from all at Pedal Power.
