Pedal Power, the charitable all-ability cycling service based at Alyn Waters Country Park, Wrexham raised over £2,500 at their Christmas Bazaar held at The Courtyard, Grosvenor’s Eaton Estate with the kind permission of the Duke of Westminster. These funds are vital to assist with the day-to-day running of this charitable service.

Guests at last Wednesday’s event were greeted by Pedal Power supporter, Nigel Reader singing all the Christmas favorites. A wonderfully festive-inspired grazing table was supplied by Caffi Cyfle, Wrexham and fantastic Christmas shopping was available from a range of local traders.

The event would not have been possible without the kind sponsorship from Steve Thompson at Zero Drytime Wrexham. Steve Thompson said

“Pedal Power is such a wonderful local service and so it was a privilege to be able to support such a fabulous event”.

Helen Wright, Chair of Pedal Power commented,

“This is our first in-person fundraising event since covid. It has been amazing to get everyone together, raising vital funds for the charity. Seeing everyone showing their support for such a valued service in our community was wonderful”.

Pedal Power is open on Wednesday and Friday offering a fleet of specialist and standard bikes for hire on a traffic-free cycle track. Riders can enjoy the health and well-being benefits of cycling in a safe secure environment.

Specialist bikes include a range of trikes, side-by-side bikes, hand bikes, wheelchair bikes and standard bikes, mountain bikes, and electric bikes for hire.
