Thanks to funding from the Landfill Disposal Tax administered by the WCVA, Pedal Power is thrilled to bring back free Learn to Ride sessions.
Pedal Power cycling service aims to promote fun, therapy, and achievement through cycling activities such as these, encouraging the local community to get involved. These initiatives aim to engage youth in the world of cycling while fostering a sense of community and environmental responsibility.
The sessions will start from March 30th, running every Saturday until April 27th. The sessions are open to all ages, and we ask that parents/carers stay with their child(ren) during the session and wear suitable footwear as there will be plenty of running around!
You can bring your own bike and helmet if you have them, or we have them available for use.
If you are interested in getting involved, booking is essential. Please contact the Cycling 4 All team via 01978 757524 / hanna.clarke@cycling4all.org
Cycling 4 All is open on Wednesdays and Fridays and has a fleet of standard and specialist bikes including trikes, hand-cycles, wheelchair bikes and side-by-side bikes. There is a traffic-free cycle track around the park where our customers can enjoy the benefits of cycling in a safe and secure environment.
Pedal Power is also asking for donations of unused, unwanted bikes in good condition to be part of their Bike Swap initiative. The bike swap aims to help reduce the number of bikes that end up as waste in landfills.
