We are excited to annouce that from May 2022 we will be opening later every Wednesday in a bid to get more families cycling.
We have a range of bikes from hand cycles to wheelchair bikes, trikes, mountain bikes and kids bikes and offers cycling opportunities for families and all abilities. The service is open every Wednesday and Friday (9.30 am – 4.00pm on Friday) and is based in Alyn Waters Country Park Wrexham.
Every Wednesday we will now be open until 6 pm and Caffi Cyfle also based at Alyn Waters will be open later until 6 pm so that riders can enjoy refreshments and use the facilities.
We hope that the later opening will encourage family cycling and that children and their families will enjoy after school cycling. As extra encouragement you can buy one bike ride and get the next one free on Wednesdays only, between 4 pm and 6 pm (terms and conditions apply).
There is a traffic free all ability cycling trail around Alyn Waters Country Park and there are longer bike trails around the park that are suitable for mountain bikes.
