Cycling 4 All, the all-ability cycling charity based at Alyn Waters Country Park in Wrexham, held a highly successful Christmas Bazaar on November 27, 2024. The event, was hosted at the Courtyard, Grosvenor’s Eaton Estate by kind permission of the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, and raised an incredible £3,500 to support the charity’s vital work.
Guests were greeted with a glass of fizz and enjoyed festive tunes performed by Delta Ladies Choir. A delicious spread of festive food, supplied by Caffi Cyfle, set the tone for the evening, and attendees had the chance to browse and shop from a range of local retailers offering unique Christmas gifts.
Helen Wright, Chair of Cycling 4 All, shared her gratitude:
“I would like to thank everyone who attended the Christmas Bazaar and assisted us in raising much needed funds to support the Pedal Power service. Further thanks go to all the local businesses who supported us with prizes and the stall holders who attended.”
Helen also extended thanks to local businesses and individuals for their generous contributions of prizes and gifts, and to the volunteers whose hard work ensured the event’s success.
Cycling 4 All operates on Wednesdays and Fridays, offering a fleet of specialist and standard bikes, including trikes, side-by-side bikes, hand bikes, wheelchair bikes, mountain bikes, and electric bikes. The service, supported by dedicated cycling officers and volunteers, provides a safe, traffic-free environment for riders to enjoy the benefits of cycling regardless of age or ability.
As Cycling 4 All approaches its 20th anniversary in 2025, the charity is looking for additional support from local companies and individuals to help sustain its services and upkeep the fleet of all ability cycles.
“We’re proud of the impact we’ve made over the years, but there is still so much to do. If you’re interested in supporting our work, whether through sponsorship, donations, or volunteering, we’d love to hear from you,” added Helen.
