Cycling 4 All is a charity providing unique cycling opportunities for everyone. Pedal Power is our cycling service offering fun, therapy and achievement for all abilities. The service is based at Alyn Waters Country Park in Wrexham. We have a fleet of standard and specialist bikes including trikes, hand-cycles, wheelchair bikes and side-by-side bikes. There is also a traffic-free cycle track around the park where our customers can enjoy the benefits of cycling in a safe and secure environment. We are looking to appoint new trustees to who can support our development and financial sustainability and who can actively contribute to the governance of the organisation.
Key to the effectiveness of this role is some organisational experience at a senior level and a willingness to contribute wholeheartedly to the functioning of the Board. Experience of or a strong interest in health and well-being would be an advantage, as would previous exposure to governance, either as part of a Board or working with governors or trustees.
Time commitment? 4 meetings a year, held during the working day, normally March, June, September and November, together with one Board strategy planning meeting per year. The appointment is for a 3-year term, renewable.
