Arweinydd y Ceidwadwyr Cymreig yn ymweld â Chaffi Cyfle a Pŵer Pedal

Ddydd Iau, 18 Awst, fed August, the Welsh Conservative Leader, Andrew RT Davis was welcomed to Pedal Power and Caffi Cyfle by Karen Balmer, Chief Executive of the Groundwork North Wales Group and Trustee of Pedal Power.

Daeth Andrew i Barc Gwledig Dyfroedd Alun i weld y gwaith mae Grŵp Groundwork Gogledd Cymru wedi ei wneud i gefnogi a datblygu Caffi Cyfle, sydd ar safle’r parc gwledig.

Caffi Cyfle is a place where delicious, seasonal, and wholesome foods that everyone can enjoy are on offer, as well as providing inclusive opportunities for the wider community to participate in work and volunteering programmes. The emphasis being on using fresh, sustainably sourced local ingredients and supporting Welsh suppliers.

Following visiting the café, Andrew went on to visit Pedal Power, an all-ability cycling service also located at the park. Andrew met the staff and volunteers and tried out one of the specialist bikes for himself so that he could get a flavour of just how accessible cycling can be.

Dywedodd Arweinydd y Ceidwadwyr Cymreig, Andrew RT Davies:

“Mae’n wych gweld y gwaith mae’r tîm Pŵer Pedal yn ei wneud yma, yn darparu offer a lleoliad gwych lle gall pobl o bob gallu fwynhau seiclo mewn amgylchedd diogel a phrydferth. Mae’r tîm yn frwd iawn dros seiclo a sicrhau y gallu pawb fwynhau, ni waeth beth yw eu gallu.”

Mae Pŵer Pedal yn elusen leol sy’n cynnig cyfleoedd seiclo bob gallu, mae’n dibynnu ar gyfraniadau arian a grantiau i gynnal ei hun ac mae’n derbyn cefnogaeth gan Groundwork Gogledd Cymru.
